Your hosts, The Hospital Association of South Africa
The Hospital Association of South Africa (HASA) is the representative body for the majority of private hospitals in South Africa. HASA members include Netcare, Life Healthcare, Mediclinic and the National Hospital Network.
Every year HASA hosts a world-class conference and exhibition to stimulate healthcare debate, showcase products and services, and provide an opportunity for delegates, exhibitors and speakers to share learning, research and the latest trends in healthcare policy, regulation, and operations.
The 2018 conference takes place at The Forum, The Campus in Bryanston, Johannesburg. The 2018 conference theme is “Thinking Forward - Collaborate. Enhance. Evolve.”
This year’s event offers an innovative approach that aims to make the conference accessible. Delegate fees are easily the lowest in the sector, and the conference programme - beginning lunchtime on Monday, 01 October and ending lunchtime on Wednesday, 03 October - is designed to enable busy delegates to reduce time spent away from the office.
The 2018 conference will feature a breakaway session in the afternoon of Tuesday, 02 October that is designed specifically for the more clinically-focused delegate.
During this time of urgent and accelerated change in healthcare, the conference will feature a number of international and local speakers with policy, regulatory and clinical expertise who, together, will explore how through forward thinking and thinking forward, we can collaborate to enhance healthcare and evolve new systems and approaches into the future.
Among those who have benefitted from past conferences have been policymakers and regulators at national and regional level, academics, hospital and nursing services managers in the public and private sector, non-governmental organisations, clinical and quality control managers, medical staff, medical device and service suppliers, consumer champions, and healthcare media.
